Autumn Equinox - Feast of Gratitude

Join us Saturday September 28th for harvest discussions, workshops, and ritual.

*Camping is available both Friday and Saturday night, for an additional fee (medical electrical is also available)

This is basically a bring your own food event. The dinner Feast will be potluck style so please bring a dish to pass. Light breakfast, coffee, and tea with be provided by Hay River FireHaven. We will have a simple outdoor kitchen set up to aid participants. This will include water access, barbecue grill, camp stove, and hot water for drinks and dishes. (Please bring your own dishes in a mesh “dunk” bag to hang dry between meals!)

Cost $10 (or goodwill donation - without camping)

$20 one-night camping

We would like to build gratitude jars for my workshop and will take ideas from anyone that would like to lead a workshop to help build the day.

Tentative Schedule:

Saturday

1pm – Gratitude Jars workshop

2pm – Open workshop (Submit your ideas)

3pm – Open workshop (Submit your ideas)

4pm – Harvest – What does it mean to you? What does it mean in your tradition?

5pm – Feast

6:30pm – Ritual as the sun sets -- Followed by Fellowship around the Fire (drumming and merriment)

Sunday

9am – Breakfast, coffee & tea - provided by HRFH

10:30am – Teardown and clean-up for those that stayed overnight

Noon – Departures

Registration Deadline: September 20th - We are required to have adequate portas available, so pre-registration is a must!
