    Nestled in the rolling hills of Western Wisconsin, we come together beside the flowing waters to experience Sacred Ceremony as we drum, dance, chant, trance, offer service, and connect with one another around the Sacred Fire each night from midnight to dawn.

    Samhain, deeply rooted in Celtic traditions, it is a significant seasonal transition marking the end of the harvest season and the onset of winter's darkness. We will be building an effigy to burn and performing an appropriate seasonal ritual.

Event Grant Policy
  1. All Grant requests and council consideration shall be held as confidential and only considered in executive session by the Council.

  2. All Grants shall be drawn from the general fund, regardless of any donations received by HRFH, and shall be considered solely on their merit.

  3. An applicant must submit their Grant request in writing, documenting their need for help, and any relevant circumstances.

  4. The Council must inform all Council Members of any facts, communications or statements related to the request prior to consideration

  5. The Council may approve Grants of up to 50% of fees in question by a simple majority vote at any time greater than 30 days before an event.

  6. Grant deadlines shall be published on platforms. Any consideration of Grants within 15 days of an event, or requests greater than 50% of fees must be considered at a special business meeting and be approved unanimously by the Council.

  7. This Grant policy shall be sent to all those requesting Grants.

Event Refund Policy

Cancellations of paid event registrations shall be considered a donation to HRFH, unless a refund request is submitted. The event refund policy shall be published as approved, in all event documents.

 

  • Refunds are available if the following conditions are met:

  • All refund requests must be made in writing.

  • A registrant requesting a refund at least 30 days prior to the event shall be granted an 80% refund of fees.

  • A registrant requesting a refund within 30 days prior to the event shall be granteda 50% refund of fees.

  • A registrant canceling participation at least 15 days before an event can transfer their registration to a specific person, without penalty if:

    • They do so in writing

    • The person has experienced the event before, or the person under consideration is approved by the Council.

  • A registrant canceling participation at any time prior to the start of the event can, by written request, delay their participation a year, and pay only any increasedcost the following year. After one year their registration becomes a donation to HRFH.
