Samhain (pronounced /ˈsɑːwɪn/ SAH-win, /ˈsaʊɪn/ SOW-in, ) deeply rooted in Celtic traditions, it is a significant seasonal transition marking the end of the harvest season and the onset of winter's darkness. We will be building an edifice to burn and performing an appropriate seasonal ritual.

About the event
Samhain (pronounced /ˈsɑːwɪn/ SAH-win, /ˈsaʊɪn/ SOW-in, ) is celebrated every year on a weekend evening closest to October 31st. Deeply rooted in Celtic traditions, it is a significant seasonal transition marking the end of the harvest season and the onset of winter's darkness. At its heart, it embodies a profound connection to nature and the changing seasons.
The dates are set for Samhain this year. Please register by October 27th at the latest. There will also be a liability and photo release form for you to sign to attend.
WORKDAYS
We are asking at least one full workday for those that wish to attend. See Samhain Workdays events to register. **As we understand that giving your time and energy to help is a gift not everyone can manage this year.
** Alternate arrangements can be made with a $25 donation.
WORKDAYS
- Saturday October 19th 10:30-4pm
- Saturday October 26th 10:30-4pm
- ***Sunday October 27th*** as an alternate in case of inclement weather 10:30-4pm
- Saturday November 2nd 10:30-6pm (We will still have plenty to complete on the 2nd to help make sure the Feast starts at 6pm.
SAMHAIN DETAILS
There will be a suggested donation fee of $15 to attend per person.
$25 fee if you are camping overnight per person.
We will start the final preparations at 11:00am on Saturday the 2nd.
A potluck meal will be shared at 6:00 before we preform the ritual and burn the Man.
Things to bring to Samhain:
- Chairs for sitting around the fire.
- Decorations for the Man that can be burned.
- Food to share at the potluck.
- Ritual clothing (plan to dress in layers as it is cold before the fire it lit!)
- Beverages to share.
- Cold weather camping gear if you are camping overnight.
- Drums and other musical instruments to play during the event.
- Candles or items to decorate the altars
- Ancestral altar contributions
- Dishes for eating with

- Pets should stay at home
